Since 1986, PAWS Shelter and Humane Society, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, has provided care and love to all homeless, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats who enter our doors. PAWS is a NO-KILL shelter serving Central Texas that believes in second chances. We provide medical attention, care, and love for however long it takes to find these companion animals a loving home.

PAWS’ life-saving and life-changing efforts include holding offsite adoptions…finding homes for over 1,000 dogs and cats annually…spaying or neutering all of our animals…fully vaccinating and micro-chipping our animals…educating the community about responsible pet ownership…ensuring proper medical attention for all of our animals…behavior testing our animals for better placement into forever homes.
